A bit about Royalton Antigua
The luxurious 5* all-inclusive hotel, Royalton Antigua, is positioned on a beautiful white sandy bay, Deep Bay, on the west coast of the island. The activity programs and facilities make it most suitable for couples and families who prefer to stay mostly within the resort. However, recommended guided land and water tours can be booked via Tropical Adventures at the excursions desk.

Accommodation
Royalton Antigua has 294 deluxe suites. Those on the ground floor benefit from swim-out pools while rooms on the upper floors have balconies with bay or hillside views. The spacious, air-conditioned rooms comprise a sumptuous king sized bed, ceiling fan, pull-out sofa, satellite TV, desk, electronic safe with plug socket, a complimentary mini-bar, clothes steamer and hair dryer. The bathroom is equipped with an energizing rain shower and his and hers basins.
Romance
For a particularly romantic stay, consider booking one of the six over-water bungalows jutting out over the Caribbean sea. Guests will receive a host of additional amenities including butler service, an infinity plunge pool and a personal yoga and fitness instructor.
Beach
Deep Bay is calm with crystal clear water and soft white sand. Paddle boards and kayaks are loaned out from the watersports desk between 10am-3pm and a lifeguard watches over the water at peak times. Comfortable sun loungers, umbrellas and tables are lined up for guests' comfort and adjacent to the beach is an open-air restaurant, Beach Club Grill, serving sandwiches and burgers between 12-5pm. Designated massage cabanas are set up for those who enjoy a beachfront massage.
Golden sunsets from the beach are incredible so choose your favourite tipple from the bar and watch the sun fall beneath the horizon.
Note: Snorkelling equipment is no longer available to borrow following the pandemic so bring your own.
Restaurants
Eight restaurants are sprinkled throughout the resort, offering something for everyone.
Beach Club Grill - a casual lunchtime diner overlooking the beach,
Score Brewhouse - a bar serving pub classics and streaming live sports events, open until 2am.
C/W Culinary Experience - A seven course dining experience complete with cocktail pairing with a personal chef (additional charges apply).
Scoops Gelato and Caffe Bar - A tempting selection of petite sandwiches, pastries, ice creams and cakes as well as frothy cappuccinos with soy, almond and regular milk.
Hunters Steakhouse - Hunters Steakhouse is popular so arrive close to 6pm to avoid disappointment. The obvious draw is the wide selection of steaks but vegetarian and fish options are available too.
Grazie Italian Trattoria - This Italian restaurant with large fans and a vaulted ceiling is accessed via a boardwalk overlooking the Caribbean sea. Dishes include traditional Italian favourites of risotto, pasta and pizza.
Caribbean Restaurant and Grill - Sit on a brightly coloured wooden boat until a table is available. Dishes include conch fritters, Creole octopus stew or Jerk chicken alongside a tropical cocktail menu.
Gourmet Marché - An unlimited self-serve buffet with an impressive array of dishes to excite any palate. Gourmet Marché is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner with occasional live music performances. At night the buffet is themed with various cuisines on rotation - Mexican night, Italian night and on a Tuesday a barbecue is set up on the beach for a party with a band.
Bars
Chill Pool Bar
A lively swim-up pool bar offers a place to cool down in a shady spot with an ice cold drink. A hive of activities take place here throughout the day including games, music and aquacise classes.
Martini Mix
Martini Mix is the place to be after sunset until 11pm. The bar is located within the lobby area beside the theatre with plenty of comfortable seating areas. It is the night-time place to meet up with others, enjoy a performance or two or simply settle on a comfortable chair and soak up the ambience.
Diamond Club Lounge
A Diamond members only bar serving premium brands of liquor.
Pools
The large pool includes a swim-up bar and a section with massage jets. Beside the pool is a jacuzzi and an additional pool for competitive games such as water polo. Additionally, near the garden is a large pool for children complete with water slides, jets and sprinklers. Parents can relax in a lounger while keeping an eye on their little ones.
Poolside Cabanas
For an additional charge rent a pool cabana for the day. Take a break from the sun and kick back with a drink while watching something from the flat screen TV. Alternatively plunge into your own private pool to cool down.
Entertainment
Royalton Antigua offers extensive entertainment programs for adults, kids and teens throughout the day and evening.
A clubhouse for kids aged 4-12 gives them a safe space to play out of the sun. Activities include talent shows, karaoke, limbo dancing competitions, games, lawn olympics and movies.
Teenagers have a designated area to mingle and play games that includes a flat screen TV, table tennis, air hockey, Playstation and movies.
Activities for adults to get involved in include unique games like coconut bowling, a dance class, kayak racing, poolside quizzes and beach cricket, A few mornings each week uplifting sunrise yoga sessions are organised on the beach. They are open level so all are welcome to join in.
Twice weekly a member of the Vibes entertainment team hikes up to Fort Barrington with anyone who cares to accompany him. This historic fort dates back to 1779 when it was built by the British to defend itself from the French.
Nightly entertainment in the lobby area starts promptly at 9pm and includes reggae dancing, silent discos, DJs and an exhilarating fire eating and limbo show.
