A bit about Royalton Antigua

The luxurious 5* all-inclusive hotel, Royalton Antigua, is positioned on a beautiful white sandy bay, Deep Bay, on the west coast of the island. The activity programs and facilities make it most suitable for couples and families who prefer to stay mostly within the resort. However, recommended guided land and water tours can be booked via Tropical Adventures at the excursions desk.

Royalton Antigua has 294 deluxe suites. Those on the ground floor benefit from swim-out pools while rooms on the upper floors have balconies with bay or hillside views. The spacious, air-conditioned rooms comprise a sumptuous king sized bed, ceiling fan, pull-out sofa, satellite TV, desk, electronic safe with plug socket, a complimentary mini-bar, clothes steamer and hair dryer. The bathroom is equipped with an energizing rain shower and his and hers basins.

For a particularly romantic stay, consider booking one of the six over-water bungalows jutting out over the Caribbean sea. Guests will receive a host of additional amenities including butler service, an infinity plunge pool and a personal yoga and fitness instructor.

Deep Bay is calm with crystal clear water and soft white sand. Paddle boards and kayaks are loaned out from the watersports desk between 10am-3pm and a lifeguard watches over the water at peak times. Comfortable sun loungers, umbrellas and tables are lined up for guests' comfort and adjacent to the beach is an open-air restaurant, Beach Club Grill, serving sandwiches and burgers between 12-5pm. Designated massage cabanas are set up for those who enjoy a beachfront massage.

  • Grazie Italian Trattoria - This Italian restaurant with large fans and a vaulted ceiling is accessed via a boardwalk overlooking the Caribbean sea. Dishes include traditional Italian favourites of risotto, pasta and pizza.

  • Caribbean Restaurant and Grill - Sit on a brightly coloured wooden boat until a table is available. Dishes include conch fritters, Creole octopus stew or Jerk chicken alongside a tropical cocktail menu.

  • Gourmet Marché - An unlimited self-serve buffet with an impressive array of dishes to excite any palate. Gourmet Marché is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner with occasional live music performances. At night the buffet is themed with various cuisines on rotation - Mexican night, Italian night and on a Tuesday a barbecue is set up on the beach for a party with a band.
