My Story

I first came to Antigua 30 years ago and fell in love with the island and its welcoming people. During the pandemic, I changed career and studied for a Diploma in Freelance Travel Journalism to pursue my passion for travel and writing. I began to spend more time in Antigua, writing about my favourite island and my positive experiences here. This included tours and activities I took part in and self-catering/bed and breakfast hotels I stayed in. I was approached and asked whether I would consider adding a privately owned rental property to my website. Having a background in real estate I was happy to do this and thought it was a great way to offer accommodation recommendations to visitors - a 'home from home' setting from which to explore the island at leisure. For each property I advertise, I first meet with the owners or property manager at the accommodation and take my own photos. This helps me to match guests to suitable properties in a number of different locations. Ultimately I want travellers to enjoy their time here as much as I do.

Spending more and more time here, I decided to take the leap and relocated last year. My limited company is now registered both in the UK and Antigua - Worldwide Travel Ideas Limited in association with Pepperpot Advertising Agency Limited.

Our aim is to help visitors discover and connect with reputable local operators. We act solely as a referral and recommendation platform. Any booking, payment, and contractual agreement is made directly between you and the tour operator or activity provider. We do not operate tours or activities and do not take payments from customers. We are not a party to any contract between you and a tour or activity provider.

The tour operator or activity provider you choose is solely responsible for delivering the tour or activity, safety standards and supervision, pricing, availability, and schedules, cancellations, changes, and refunds. We encourage all customers to ask questions before booking, confirm inclusions and exclusions and ensure activities are suitable for their health and abilities.

Worldwide Travel Ideas Limited in association with Pepperpot Advertising Agency Limited will receive a commission from the tour company/activity provider if you book one of the tours listed on this website, at no extra cost to you.

Terms and Conditions for properties

Worldwide Travel Ideas Limited in association with Pepperpot Advertising Agency Limited is not a booking agent and does not handle payments, manage or control the properties. It acts only as an introducer/referral service. It is not liable for the condition of the property, accuracy of descriptions once listed, cancellation, changes or disputes, injuries, losses or damages during the stay. The responsibility sits entirely between guest and owner. All photos were accurate at the time they were taken but properties may change over time. Guests should confirm details of personal importance with the owners at the time of booking.

Any personal data collected such as mobile phone numbers and email addresses are shared only with property owners for booking purposes.

In the majority of referrals, I will receive a commission from the property owner which does not affect the price paid by guests. However in a couple of cases, the rental rate quoted may be slightly inflated to include a referral commission payable to me by the property owner/apartment complex.
