A bit about St James's Club Antigua


Palm tree lined pavements

St James's Club is a luxurious, sprawling resort on the south eastern coast of Antigua. It is sandwiched between two stunning beaches with an extensive entertainment program throughout the day and at night. Within the grounds are palm tree lined pavements, relaxation areas with ocean views, a treehouse style coffee shop and an old English red telephone box.

Room Types


Club rooms are located on the ground floor. They are suitable for two adults or one adult and a child. Each is tastefully decorated in pastel colours with splashes of blue, terracotta tiles and mahogany furniture. Patio doors open onto a private, furnished terrace with views over the well manicured gardens.


Premium rooms are slightly larger, located on the 1st and 2nd floors with garden and partial ocean views. These rooms accommodate two adults and two children or three adults.


Beachfront rooms are larger and benefit from views over Coco beach with its white sand and swaying palm trees.

Suites


Junior Suites comprise a sumptuous king size bed, bathroom with tub and overhead shower and his and hers sinks. They accommodate two adults and a child. The living area has a sofa, cable TV and a refrigerator. Furnished patios overlook the gardens or ocean and a perfect spot for relaxing with a good book or your favourite tipple. Royal Suites have stunning views over golden sand Mamora Bay. Residents of these suites have exclusive perks such as their own check-in desk and a private, quiet pool with waterfall.


Villas

Overlooking Mamora Bay high in the hillside, a selection of luxurious villas are available for larger parties, sleeping up to eight guests. Villas have two or three bedrooms, each with an ensuite.

Mamora Bay

The golden sand bay with tranquil water is ideal for a refreshing dip, swim, snorkel or water sports.

St James's Club is blessed with five swimming pools. The main pool, The Reef Deck, is framed with comfortable loungers and ideal for lap swimming or taking part in various activities such as water aerobics. Adjacent to the pool is a bar, The Rainbow Garden self-serve, buffet restaurant and a shaded pavilion with ping pong table. Additionally there is a three tiered adults only pool for those who enjoy peace and quiet and a separate kids pool that keeps the under 12s occupied. A further pool is located at the far end of the resort, close to Coco's Restaurant and a private pool with a waterfall exclusively for residents of the Royal Suites.


Kids Club

Parent's can leave their children aged 4-12 from 9-4:30 if they are potty trained, otherwise they have to accompany them but they can still join in the fun.


Jacaranda Lounge

A lively bar to head to after dinner for a favourite drink and dancing.


Coffee Shop


A unique 'treehouse style' coffee shop selling creamy lattes, pastries and cookies. This is a great spot for early morning coffee or afternoon tea. Collect and go or settle at one of the tables on the decked area.


Tennis/Pickleball courts

Set amongst lush gardens are well maintained courts to play tennis or the new popular sport, pickleball.


Fitness Centre

A fully equipped gym is included in the all-inclusive package for those who enjoy staying fit while on vacation. Cardio machines are situated behind large windows offering stunning views of the resort while burning calories.


Spa

Choose from a menu of treatments including the warm bamboo fusion massage for ultimate relaxation or perhaps indulge in a soothing massage in the outdoor pavilion.


Activity Program

An extensive activity program operates daily to keep children, teenagers and adults entertained. Activities include ping pong tournaments, cocktail making classes, pilates, trivia competitions, windsurfing lessons, beach football and more. After dark expect bands, steel pans, beach barbecue, fire eaters and a weekly Managers cocktail party. The St James's Club cinema also shows movies late afternoon and at 8pm.

The Rainbow Garden

A casual, self-serve buffet restaurant open. for breakfast and lunch with an a la carte dining option of an evening. A full range of local and International dishes are available.


Coco's

Coco's is set in an idyllic elevated position with ocean views serving a la carte meals that are Caribbean inspired.


Eleven-11


Fish & Chips lunch

As it says in the name this eatery is open from 11am-11pm. This is a casual, open-air restaurant with views over the water and swaying palm trees. The restaurant serves a selection of popular dishes such as fish and chips, burgers, salads and pasta.


Piccolo Mondo

Dining here comes with a $40 surcharge. The fine dining Italian restaurant is a great choice for couples wanting a romantic dinner in a picturesque setting.


The Docksider Grill

Docksider Grill overlooks Mamora Bay. Evenings here are themed. For example, Caribbean Calypso night offers dishes from that particular region alongside entertainment.


Beach Bar and Grill

A casual beach bar that cooks up a selection of tasty burgers.
